After-hours mobile vets

An after-hours vet service provides veterinary care outside regular business hours, typically evenings, weekends and public holidays, for urgent or time-sensitive pet health issues.

Dogs and cats (and in some cases smaller pets) can access the after-hours service when their primary vet is closed, or when urgent attention is needed outside standard hours.

Response times vary by location, traffic, availability and urgency. After triage, we aim to dispatch a vet as soon as possible, though in some situations we may direct you to the nearest emergency hospital for faster care.

Call our support line immediately, describe the situation, and we’ll triage the case. If a home visit is appropriate we’ll arrange it; if not, we’ll guide you to the nearest clinic or hospital.

The after-hours mobile vet can perform diagnostics, initial treatment, pain relief, wound care or stabilisation. If advanced treatment or surgery is required, they will coordinate referral to a partner clinic.

Keep your pet calm, limit movement if injured, gather any medical history, restrict food/water if advised, and have a safe transport option ready. If instability is suspected, head straight to hospital.
