One of their vets came to our home to euthanize our darling 12 year old boy. The vet barely spoke to us unless we asked a question. Nothing about the procedure was explained to us. He showed no kindness or compassion to us or our beautiful boy His phone was going off during the process. At one point he shoved his phone in front of me, asking for my signature – I was sobbing uncontrollably. Finally, he asked my partner to help him carry our deceased pet out to his car. This was as far from a peaceful euthanasia as you can get. A horrible experience that we will never forget.
